Broken Glass

hell on earth

the city of Sderot is being bombed everyday.
my friends and I took our cameras and drove there to see whats going on.
on that day, 16 Kassam rockets hit the city.
we took pictures all day.
later, when i looked at the roll, i hated all the 533 pictures i took.
this one stood out.

on the road from one place to another.

i saw a monster on TV a few nights ago.
it was a real monster. a mean one and an evil one it was.
it was a man.

i love the way light fixtures come out in pictures.

hail break

it was a freezing week over here.
when people say Israel i think, warm weather, the beach... not the whole "water freezing in the taps, people dying in the streets".

some time off

the semester is over tomorrow.
i need some time off.
while studing, i was taking long vacations by watching the travel channel and day dreaming.
this is from the time i went all the way to Fiji and never left the comfort of my own home.

away from home

TLV dorms
taken during the massive academic faculty strike that ended last month.
the strike was long. about three months long.
at first, the students rabelled, then they stood amazed as no one cared about their academic future.
at the time i took the picture, the students were in state of deep depression and this is how it looked like.
empty dorms.

backstage

there is something about groupies that repulses people.
i see it all the time in my line of work and i know what are the benefits from having groupies onboard.
thing is, that i find them amusing. i love watching them work their way in to someone's bed.
while they work so hard, i know it only takes a bottle of whisky and a big cleavage.
